We’re a very small office with extremely dedicated and hardworking staff. We lack the resources of larger offices, but also offer great aspects for those who like the idea of a small, tight-knit work environment.

Looking for an operations technician to handle all aspects of rental property management, with a strong focus on maintenance supervision, disciplined follow up, etc. Tasks include field work such as inspections, photos, meeting contractors, minor repairs when needed (touch up cleaning or replacing light bulbs, filters, etc. We manage homes across the Triangle area, not a single multi-family building. This position would be substantially different from most apartment management as there will be substantial travel involved, and much more maintenance handling, project management, and getting properties ready to rent.

This position will mainly be in the field and in office. This is not a work from home position. This position would require property inspections (we manage properties in Raleigh and all surrounding areas), minor cleaning of properties, minor repairs as noted above, management of independent contractor assignments, computer tasks such as assigning vendors for maintenance, uploading inspection photos, and arranging HVAC filter deliveries.

Applicant must be efficient, extremely organized, tech savvy, and good at taking direction. You will also be directly interacting with a lot of other staff members, and our company prides itself on it’s work culture and team environment.

Applicant absolutely must possess the following…

Reliable transportation

Ability to stay focused and work hard for results without constant oversight

Must be extremely tech / computer savvy

Attention to detail and consistency are immediately required

Ability to deal with difficult tenants in need of legitimate repairs

Ability to effectively deal with difficult tenants demanding illegitimate repairs

Ability to deal with rental owners who can also be difficult

Basic knowledge of home repairs

Ability to be available to take after hours call shifts in the future if needed for emergency maintenance

Busy property management firm looking for an accounting assistant. We have an extremely hard working staff and are a results oriented company. Victory manages rental properties all across the NC area and will soon be expanding into other states. We are looking to add another team member with a strong work ethic to our team!

This position is for an Accounting Administrative Assistant and will report to the Accounting Manager. This position will be employed at our corporate office in Wilmington.

This will be a full time position with working hours Monday – Friday from 9AM-5PM. Potential for partial remote work possible in the future for the right individual.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Rental property accounting including AP and AR

Processing any mail received at office

Entering miscellaneous tenant or owner fees in Appfolio

Process payable invoices

Process rent payments and complete bank deposits

Tracking reimbursements

Communicate with owners and tenants on accounting related questions

Assist team on accounting related questions and invoicing issues

Assist with other basic tasks for other departments when needed

Familiarity with Appfolio and Quickbooks a plus but not a requirement

Applicants must possess the following:

Minimum of two years of accounting experience

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask

Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and written) with team members, clients, and customers
