It is crucial that you notify us in advance if you are traveling a long distance for your appointment, especially if it will be a self-guided lockbox tour. Electronic lockboxes are inherently a bit unreliable, we need to make special arrangements for you.

Hi! Thanks for your interest. Many of our homes are self-show eligible and you’ll have instructions on how to handle that any minute if you inquired about an eligible home.

If you don’t receive that, it is either being updated and not shown for a bit.

If you were notified that your request was denied, the most common reasons that tend to be resolvable are a move date that’s too far out, or a pet situation that might need clarification. We will try to have the owner make exceptions for certain pets if the credit score is exceptional. If pets aren’t allowed there won’t be exceptions trust us, we tried hard.

To help keep you better informed on the status of homes that aren’t available to view yet so you don’t need to reach out for individual updates, we created an update list. Use the button below and bookmark it and you can keep an eye as we add information and updates.

Long Distance Travel to View

Self showings are great but the boxes do jam and go dead so if you’re traveling a distance notify us for special instructions

Location Problems

To reduce fraud our system requires that you share your location and be relatively near the home. You won’t be able to schedule for someone else to view and get a code, they will need to themselves.

Dead Lockbox Battery

If you have a 9-volt battery you can plug it into the bottom of a box and use your code normally even if the battery is dead inside.

We Aren’t the Decision Maker

The homeowner by law makes all final decisions on pets, credit standards etc. We try to guide and influence them but it’s often futile or has already been tried.

Evictions

We simply do not accept past evictions. They are always declined. Here are details on qualifying

Wait Lists

Especially during busy periods our account managers might be a bit slow to update you on the status of a home that’s on the wait list. 9 times out of 10 it’s being updated, or it’s occupied and someone will soon schedule a showing with you directly, or more likely we will complete the job, take it off the wait list and you’ll be invited to schedule a self-showing.

We test before we put them in, but an active rental can burn through new batteries pretty fast, and we also can’t be ridiculously wasteful. If you are particularly worried about any of these issues and more, just schedule an in-person showing instead. That’s an option, just ask. If you’re coming from a long way, etc that’s probably best. We apologize for any trouble this system may cause but hopefully you’ll understand that we took these steps to alleviate problems the best we could
